The daily questions sent to you by the MyKetoPal team are specifically designed to keep us real and to help us overcome the habitual behaviors that keep us sick and stuck.

Inner Work

This is your time. Embrace it!

It takes courage to press on with recovery. Perseverance and fearlessness will push us through.

Recovery is about getting extremely honest with our situation. It is about no longer “passing the buck” of blame but to embrace total responsibility for our actions and circumstances. Then and only then can we become free from the chains that bind us.

Recovery is about being fair with yourself and others. It’s about identifying our habits and behaviors that have contributed to our illness, then courageously releasing them. Recovery is about fearlessness and work. Pushing through even when we don’t feel like it. It’s about going beyond our comfort zone and accepting the change. Recovery is about letting go of victim mentality and rising above to victor mentality.

The Good News is that you are not walking this path alone. God is always with you. True recovery is letting the Creator come in and do His work.

Duke University’s Center for the Study of Religion/Spirituality and Health, the first research facility in the world to study how religious faith affects believers’ physical and emotional health. This center’s research has led to more than 70 data-based, peer-reviewed papers published in medical and scientific journals. Some of the findings include:

  • People with strong faith who suffer from physical illness have significantly better health outcomes than less religious people.
  • People who attend religious services regularly have stronger immune systems and lower stress than their less religious counterparts.
  • Religious faith seems to protect the elderly from cardiovascular disease and cancer.
  • Religious patients recover from hip fractures and open-heart surgeries better than nonreligious patients.

Self discovery starts with being honest, open-minded and willing to change. Writing is one of the most effective ways to truly see within.

Writing is releasing, pondering, reviewing and seeing our own truths. The questions we provide for you are for your own private thoughts. There is no need to share them with anybody. They belong to you and solely you.

This is about surrendering and gaining control all at the same time.

There are three methods of writing which we found to be truly working to find out why we do what we do:

  1. Writing out our daily and weekly goals.
  2. Logging our food daily and journaling how we felt with what we ate each day.
  3. Doing inner work – Answering hard hitting “truth bullet” questions about ourselves.

Start your inner work when you subscribe to our site. You will be given access to the weekly questions as well as emailed a daily question that will bring you closer to understanding yourself by identifying your strengths and your shortcomings.

Turning this over to God will help you to gain the courage to fight and in faith, recover.

Seeing what's really going on inside on the physical level.

Part of getting real is connecting to our body completely. With the understanding of what we do affects how we live, we are more apt than not to make the changes we need to really get healthy.

Going through this website to discover how food and the body interact, will give you the best advantage to shift your lifestyle. You will see food completely differently. You will see it as medicine instead of just something to fill your stomach. You will learn what foods make us sick, and which foods help to heal our body.

Getting real is about connecting, pure and simple. Staying real is a discipline that is achievable. Because knowledge is power, we give you the tools to achieve your goal. But nothing works unless you do. We provide the knowledge, food and exercise program as well as the written material for INNER WORK… But you have to take that food for thought and put action to it.

Getting real is about honesty which is the cornerstone of all success. Without it, confidence and ability cease to exist.

You are as successful as you allow yourself to be. Don’t hold back, go for it with gusto!

The Road Map to Getting Healthy

Below are just a couple of tools you can use to get you in the right state of mind for true and positive change.

1. Break down the barriers on your path

This means cleaning house. Get rid of anything that does not support you.

This also means arming yourself with knowledge. One huge barrier to health is not understanding how we function as humans. The mystery of it all keeps is stuck. When we know, we become fearless.

2. Live by the golden rule: Treat others how you would like to be treated

We empower ourselves when we treat others the way how we want to be treated. Completely letting go of blame is also extremely high on the list of successful healing.

3. Be enthusiastic

When you are enthusiastic, you glow. Enthusiasm is contagious. If your situation is that you are not getting much emotional support for your journey, your enthusiasm WILL catch on. You will notice others cheering you on as you go. You may also want to share your experience.
